Why Choose Us?Everyone employed by Stephens Scown enjoys the benefits of working for a large and progressive practice in a fantastic part of the country to live in.
We aim to offer a stable and rewarding career which will develop you personally and professionally. The success of this policy is reflected in the fact that many of the firm's partners were once Stephens Scown trainees themselves.
How We're ArrangedThe firm is divided into five client service groups - Family, Corporate, Wills, Probate & Trusts, Litigation & Dispute Resolution and CommercialProperty. Within these service groups are teams which concentrate on more specialist areas of legal practice. You can find out more about them by looking through this website.
The philosophy of this firm is to encourage people with specialist skills to form teams of excellence, and the success of this philosophy is borne out by the fact that we have specialists who are members of the Law Society's Planning Panel, the Family Law Panel, the Personal Injury Panel, the Child Care Panel and others.
The firm has ability to field multi-disciplinary teams drawn from different offices in the practice when required. To find out more about the sort of work we do, please visit the Stephens Scown in the News section of this website.
